1. Send a request
Email sales@ikp-elec.com with “Data Deletion Request” in the subject line. Use the button below to open a prepared email. Send the request from the work email used for the enquiry when possible.
- Your name, company and country or region.
- The email address, telephone number or other identifier used with IKP.
- What you want deleted: contact/RFQ record, uploaded file, extracted text, campaign record or all eligible information.
- The approximate submission date, project name, file name or RFQ reference that will help locate the record.
2. Identity verification
We verify that a requester is the individual concerned or is authorized to act for them. We will ask only for information reasonably needed to match the request to a record. Do not email a passport, national identity card, password or other sensitive credential unless IKP has first provided a secure and necessary verification method.
3. Response process
We aim to acknowledge a complete request within five business days and complete it within 30 days. Local law may require a different period. If a request is complex, affects multiple systems or needs clarification, we will explain the status and any lawful extension.
4. What deletion covers
After a valid request, we delete or irreversibly de-identify eligible personal information in active systems and instruct relevant service providers where required. Backup copies may remain until the normal secure rotation cycle completes and will not be restored for ordinary business use.
5. Information we may retain
We may retain the minimum information required to complete a contract, comply with tax, product-safety, export, legal or recordkeeping duties, establish or defend legal claims, investigate security incidents, or preserve an opt-out. We will explain an applicable exception unless law prevents us from doing so. A suppression record contains only what is needed to avoid contacting you again.
6. Marketing opt-out
A marketing opt-out does not require deletion of an active RFQ or supply record. Use the unsubscribe method in a message or email sales@ikp-elec.com with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line. We apply the request across managed outreach channels as soon as practicable and generally within 24–48 hours.
7. Questions or complaints
If you believe a request was not handled correctly, reply to the case email with the details. Subject to local law, you may also complain to the privacy or data-protection authority where you live or work.
